FIVE ADAPTED LESSONS FROM THE 'COMPLETE' NOVEL

Here is my review on the COMPLETE novel;

'The novel exudes such beautiful blend of words and evokes a powerful flow of scriptures'.
Okay, I didn't say that but Ma'am Ife Grace.

And truly it does.

The reviews weren't just written to draw attention.
You could relate from reading.

One could find oneself relating to the story and find the characters coming alive.

The author of the Complete novel is Goodness Adegbola.
It's a book of 12 chapters and 257 pages.

A cherishable and lovable book.
A book you would enjoy reading.

There are a lot to be learnt but I adapted five lessons which I want you to gently, patiently and meditatively go through.

1) NEVER FEEL BAD ABOUT YOUR BODY BUILD UP
Like a recent post I shared on facebook, be
confident of your build-up, the beautiful one   formed you.
And that does not mean we shouldn't take good care of our body. Eat heathily. Once you're sure you eat healthily and you take the best care of yourself, don't fall into the trap of people body shaming you,  'Kai, you're too slim or thin', 'You're just too fat, you can't even carry yourself'...
If you listen to those, it will weigh you down.

2) MIND YOUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
Which kind of people surrounds you or do you surround yourself with?
Are they helpful in your growth or bringing you down?
You have the right to choose right. There is no time to be weighed down by some wrong friends. We have to achieve what we have to on time, with the right kind of friends.

3) BE PRAYERFUL
Every step one takes should be taken in the place of prayer.
And be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, 'what is He saying at this point in time?'.

4) FORGIVENESS
Don't find it hard to forgive. You can only be complete yourself, when you forgive. Let the scars be covered with the overwhelming love of Christ.

5) WE ARE MADE COMPLETE IN CHRIST
On our own, we can never be complete.
We are whole in Christ.

Those are my adapted lessons from the novel.

Lade is so easy to love eh, and Moni too.

But I love the character of Terrence more.

I was reading the part that he went to Lade's church for the first time, with a 'one-sided' look.
But he didn't end up like I imagined, a guy who goes to church all because of a lady. No.

David ended up a cool guy. So eager to learn the Word.

Edward ba, one hard guy like that. He sha ended up complete😂.

See Barns na, he became so friendly with the ground. He had too. He's got no choice.

I can be diligent if I want to be and so I picked my pencil, marked out new words and checked them up in a dictionary(not done checking though).

Apart from learning new words, you would also learn simple Yoruba words.

My conclusion is that,

Complete, is a great piece of scripturally written art.

Have you read it? Drop your lesson from the novel, would love to read it.

Yet to read it? Do grab your copy. Fast.
