Few Lessons From 'LEGION'!

The Legion Movie is the newest released Mount Zion Movie. It is filled with lessons for every individual; be it parents, singles, youths, teenagers, Ministers' children.

The movie brings to mind what is written in Ephesians 6:12, that 'we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against a spiritual wickedness in high places.'

So I divided my lessons learned into Four groups.

The Parents

  • Bring up your child in the ways of the Lord, and when he is grown, he will not depart from it.
  • Pray for all your children, without leaving anyone out.
  • Never kick your child out, no matter what he'd done, instead draw him closer to you and have an unrequited bond.
  • Be an example of what you teach to your children.
  • We know how much you try to give us(the children) the best, and how we prove stubborn, let not our stubbornness deter you from praying for us and for loving us.

The Youths/Teenagers

  • Set your priorities right. Be God-minded.
  • Flee all Youthful lusts. It will end up destroying you.
  • 'Remember the child of whom you are'. Remember that you are God's!
  • How you spend your youthful days determines how your old age will be. If you waste your young days; having the wrong friends, fornicating, lazying about, your old age will end in regrets.
  • Listen to your Parents. They may be old-fashionedπŸ˜„, but they know what they are telling you.
  • Listen to words of wisdom.
  • Determine to be excellent, even in your academics.
  • Do not follow the multitude to do what is evil.

The Singles
  • Let God be at the centre of your choice-making.
  • Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Do not think you can change anyone, you can change no one! It's the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Ministers' Children
  • Hmm, be ye separate! Be ye different! Do not be like the rest. I know of how much we want to be FREE from our parents watch and even from the watchful eyes of the people, but, it would be better that you know God for yourself.
Dear Believer, 'Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes'(Ephesians 6:11), for the battle is dense!

God's Blessings! πŸ€—
