COMMUNICATION IS HARD!😒

Bonjour! Welcome to my 12-day blog series, where I will be sharing 24 lessons I've learnt in 2024. I'm excited to dive in and share these insights with you, so do stay through.👋

LESSON TWENTY-ONE

I've learnt a crucial communication skill that I believe will benefit many areas of my life, including business. It's simple yet powerful: being direct and clear in my communication.

Instead of beating around the bush or worrying about being "correct," I've learnt to go straight to the point. When communicating with others, I now focus on ensuring they understand my message, rather than trying to anticipate their reactions or judgments.

For instance, if someone asks me to do something I'm not interested in, I've learnt to respond directly and clearly. I'll say "no" and then explain my reasons, rather than leading them on or giving false hope.

By being more direct and open in my communication, I've found that it saves time, avoids misunderstandings, and builds trust with others. I'm excited to apply this lesson to different areas of my life and see the positive impact it can have.

LESSON TWENTY-TWO

I am learning to regularly review my vision board to track progress, evaluate my actions, and make adjustments as needed. To also schedule regular check-ins with myself, whether it's monthly, quarterly, or at another interval that works for me  This consistent reflection, I believe, will help me:

1. Stay focused on my goals

2. Celebrate my achievements

3. Identify areas for improvement

4. Make intentional decisions to get back on track

5. Refine my vision and make adjustments as needed

By doing so, I'll be able to make steady progress toward my goals and stay committed to my vision.
