FINDING A WIFEπŸ‘©‍❤️‍πŸ’‹‍πŸ‘¨

You know how we hear 'God told me' proposals and we think it's 'Old School'?

How we tell our parents, 'Ahahn! Mummy and Daddy, that was your time, this is our time.'?

But, should these marriages that end up fruitful and purposeful still be considered 'Old school'?

Would it not be better if we picked a lesson of two from the people we consider 'Old school'? Would it not?

Daddy Gbile Akanni's proposal or how he found his wife's story may not be all like what we hear and are in love with, but to tell you the truth, the involvement of God should still be there.

Through the steps he took, God helping him, he ended up choosing rightly.

I picked a lesson or two, and I would love to share with you.

1. There should be a Spiritual Leader, one you could look up to for Guidance. It's not that they should choose for you, but they will guide you, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

The people you love their marriages also have a Spiritual Leader.

2. Be more involved in your purpose.

It is fulfilling purpose that you will find your partner.

In 'The Train' Movie (a True Life story), MAB found his wife while fulfilling his purpose.

In 'Patrick Syndrome', Dr. Patrick found his wife while fulfilling purpose.

3. Be patient and prayerful.

Marriage is not to be rushed.

4. Every marriage is a ministry. It's another place to fulfill purpose, together with your spouse.

That is the reason for getting the mind of God, because, a mistake in marriage is a lifetime suffering. It makes one to become limited, and not get to the height of the plans of God.

5. Regardless of your convictions, God still leads. Even in the matters of marriage partner.

Note that, every 'How we met' story is a unique story of the individuals involved. Your own might not necessarily be the same.

God's blessings!πŸ€—

Can you share your thoughts on the reviews so far? I'd appreciate it so much. Thank you.πŸ’™
